GS1 France is organising a free workshop on "how to roll-out invoice fiscal dematerialisation". The aim of this workshop is to review the current state of roll-out of this dematerialisation modality (art. 289 V). This workshop will be held on 18th December between 14h and 18h on the premises of GS1 France (Issy les Moulineaux – 92).

Each year Infopromotions organises two 2 day training sessions focussing on the dematerialisation of invoices. The next session will be held on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th November 2007 in Paris. During these two training days, 12 concrete case studies and feedback from experience will be presented to attendees. At this event we shall share our feedback from experience concerning the different electronic invoicing projects underway. Patrick Schuller, Director of Operations, will join RTE in the presentation of their supplier invoicing project.

Deskom will be participating in the USF (French SAP users) convention which will be held from Tuesday afternoon, 9th October to Thursday 11th October 2007 at the Centre des Congrès in Rheims. The Centre des Congrès is ideally located close to the town centre and within walking distance of the main hotels. The destination chosen for the 2007 event is well served by road, but more particularly now by the TGV high speed rail link, with a journey time between Paris and Rheims of just 45 minutes. Plenary sessions will be held in the Auditorium Royal, and the site will also host the MySAP ERP Partners exhibition, with a configuration of 77 stands (6m² each) and the SBO Partners exhibition, with 20 Meeting points. There are also exhibition mezzanine work rooms with a capacity of 60 feedback from experience workshops.

A day covering EDI and electronic invoicing information and exchanges was held on Thursday 6th September 2007 from 9h to 13h at the Cora head office. Cora invited all its volume distribution suppliers. Cora group members and the Match Supermarkets detailed their EDI and Invoicing Dematerialisation strategy via 4 round table topics including:

• Optimising merchant flows and Traceability;

Given the increased willingness of French distributors to deploy invoice dematerialisation, GS1 France is joining forces with them to organise an event covering this topic. All distributors involved in this process are expected to attend, in particular Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Métro and the FNAC, who will present the current state of their "dematerialised invoices" projects and the expected developments for the coming months. DGI, DVNI and Galia will also participate during this event.
